Cara Motorhomes is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians and Mechanics to join our team in Newcastle West.

 

As agents for leading motorhome manufacturers Dethleffs, Sunlight, and Rapido, as well as newly appointed Fiat service professionals, we provide end-to-end care for our customers' needs.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and dealership standards.

Using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, you will diagnose and repair vehicle faults correctly.

You will also perform vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our motorhomes.

 

Some of your main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on motorhomes, such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming

- Ensuring that all motorhomes are cleaned and inspected to a high standard

- Reporting any damages or disturbances to management

- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times

- Changing and rotating mattresses, as well as replacing dirty linens with clean ones

- Maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Operating woodworking machines and using hand tools to cut, shape, and form wood
- Reinforcing, repairing water ingress damage.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with customers and addressing any concerns they may have about their experience on the coffee dock.
