Dekasyl MS-1 Adhesive and Sealant White - 4046085626113

Dekasyl MS-1 is a universal elastic sealant and adhesive that cures with humidity.
Dekasyl MS-1 is suitable for the production of internal and external elastic seals and can be used in e.g. the automotive, bus, train, caravan and construction industries as well as other general industries. Also suitable as an adhesive for components where great demands are not placed on the joint. Dekasyl MS-1 is based on MS Polymer.
Adhesion
In general, Dekasyl MS-1 without primer adheres well to clean, dry, dust and grease free substrates such as aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder-coated metal, most coated metal surfaces, glass, PVC, polyester (GRP), painted and varnished wood etc. Not suitable on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE substrates. Cleaning the substrates with Dekaclean Ultra is recommended (an adhesion test before use is advised). When high adhesion is required in cases of high thermal or physical loads, especially in humid environments, the use of Dekavator is recommended. For properties of substrates not listed and for further information, please contact Dekalin.
Applications
Elastic bonds and sealing in e.g. bus, caravan, train and truck construction
Elastic bonds and sealing in air and ventilation systems
Sealing joints around windows, doors etc.
Sealing in the wood and metal industries
Sealing of GRP or aluminium profiles to painted sheet metal panels

Properties
Free of solvents, isocyanate, silicone and PVC
Good UV resistance and ageing resistance
Generally good adhesion without primer on various substrates
Permanently elastic in the temperature range from -40°C to +100°C
Neutral and fast curing
Suitable for sanitary facilities (fungicide-resistant)
Compatible with most industrial painting or lacquering systems, with both alkyd resin and emulsion paints (due to the large number of different types of industrial paints, a compatibility test is recommended!)
