Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 75/15
Victron Energy SCC075015060R SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 Solar Charge Controller
A solar charger is supplied with energy via solar modules and then stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, the SmartSolar maximises this energy harvest and intelligently directs it to fully charge the batteries in the shortest possible time. The SmartSolar maintains the functionality of the battery and thus extends its service life.
MPPT: Ultra-Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking:
By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) modules, the MPPT technology ensures that virtually all energy that is available is being drawn from the modules and stored. The benefit of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing.
Remote monitoring and control:
You can remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MMPT charger by pairing the Bluetooth dongle with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. When your system is connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet Portal (VRM), you have full access to your MPPT anytime, anywhere. Both services are available free of charge. For remote sites – even if there is no internet connection and no phone network nearby – you can monitor your MPPT via Bluetooth pairing. To do this, use a LoRaWAN (Long-Range Wide Area Network) device. This is available as an option.
Load output:
The 'Intelligent Load Output' function prevents damage caused by using flat batteries. You can configure the voltage at which the SmartSolar will disconnect a load – this will prevent excessive discharging of your batteries. And here’s the clever bit: The SmartSolar attempts to charge the battery back to 100% every day. If that’s not possible – e.g. in bad weather – it increases the disconnect voltage value daily until it succeeds. We call this feature BatteryLife because it keeps it working and extends the life of your battery.
