Island Bed:
The Island bed is one of the most popular layouts among customers, largely because of its superior comfort and easy accessibility. Some designs allow the bed to be retracted during the day to create additional living space, while certain models also feature adjustable height options for enhanced convenience.
Twin Single Beds
Twin XL single beds are a top pick for many, offering easy access with lower steps and the flexibility to convert into a large double bed. Plus, their elevated design means you get a roomy garage underneath—perfect for stashing bikes, golf clubs, or whatever adventure gear you’ve got in mind! 🚴♂️⛳

It's also crucial to consider the age of the motorhome, as older models may bring challenges when it comes to sourcing parts for things like fridges and boilers, which can become obsolete and tricky to replace 🔧🚐.
Service History/Habitation Checks
When purchasing a motorhome, we encourage customers to consider a few essential questions regarding the engine side, however, people are usually aware of these engine related questions such as:
Is the engine due for a service?
Has the timing belt been replaced?
Are the tires still within their serviceable date? 🛠️
These maintenance costs can add up quickly, so it's best to be prepared.
Creditable Habitation checks are equally important, if not more important as people are less aware of how to understand spotting issues like dampness, leaks, or water ingress, which can seriously affect the motorhome’s overall condition. 🏠💧
Repairing water damage can be extremely expensive, so catching these problems early is key.
Finally, it’s vital to ensure that all appliances are functioning properly across different power sources, including gas and electricity, to avoid any surprises down the road ⚡🔥.
License Requirements
Licensing requirements are an important consideration when purchasing a motorhome. Some models, particularly those with a chassis exceeding 3,500 kg, which require a C1 license. This can be beneficial for transporting heavier items such as e-bikes and scooters. Vehicles under 3,500 kg can be driven with a standard car license. Always check the vehicle's weight plate to determine the appropriate license category.
