Before setting off on your adventure, you should check that the caravan does not exceed the permitted total weight and, above all, that it is loaded correctly. Because not only overloading, but also uneven and one-sided loading have a negative effect on the stability of the caravan and can turn simple braking maneuvers into a nightmare.

The handy Caravan Weight Control scales from Reich allow you to easily determine the right/left distribution of your trailer and prevent dangerous swaying. This gives you full control over the total weight of your caravan and the partial loads of the individual wheels.

CWC can weigh single-axle, tandem-axle and four-wheeled vehicles. The type of vehicle can be easily set on the scales.

The scales are available in two different versions
The yellow scale is suitable for weighing trailers, caravans and larger motorhomes up to a maximum load of 1,000 kg per wheel.
The orange scale is suitable for weighing trailers, caravans and larger motorhomes up to a maximum load of 1,500 kg per wheel.

Note: For an accurate result, the vehicle scales should be placed on a firm, level and clean surface. The scales have a slight deviation of approx. 3 %. You should therefore weigh your trailer three times for an exact weight indication. The average of the three different results is then very precise.
